BENPOSIUM 2012: May 14-17 in Houston, TX

BENTEK Energy's Premier Conference

BENPOSIUM is back and better than ever for 2012! We’ve expanded our breakout sessions format, added more industry speakers and bolstered our pre-conference training day with a crude oil primer.

With great changes come great opportunities and North America is poised once again to reassert itself as a leading global energy innovator, producer and exporter. But with new expectations and assumptions come unknown risks and untold rewards. Questioning historical production, transportation and pricing relationships are at the center of the debate as new technologies rattle the energy supply stack.

This is the objective of BENPOSIUM 2012, a premier event from BENTEK Energy: To explore the most important aspects of the developments that impact natural gas, NGLs and crude oil through the practical application of fundamental analysis.

Join key industry executives, analysts, traders and investors again in 2012 for an in-depth look at shifting energy market dynamics and how these developments are reshaping the natural gas, crude oil and NGL industry landscapes. BENPOSIUM provides comprehensive energy market fundamentals analysis as only BENTEK can deliver, plus on-the-spot reactions, observations and comments from industry leaders.

Pre-Conference Training: Natural Gas, NGLs and Oil

(Monday, May 14, 8:30 a.m - 4:00 p.m.)
Expanded Format! Learn about the key aspects of the natural gas, NGLs and crude oil industries from a fundamental perspective. With two concurrent tracks that review either 1) NGLs and crude oil or 2) NGLs and natural gas, attendees will be able to focus on the topics that are most important to them. This day is ideal for seasoned industry veterans wanting to learn about new commodities or for those new to the industry.

Day 1: The Great Inflection Point: Natural Gas, NGLs and Oil

(Tuesday, May 15, 8:30 a.m - 4:00 p.m.)
Day 1 explores the surprising new trends and realities across natural gas, NGLs and oil, including the re-emergence of old plays, changes in power generation, the impact of new technologies, producer economics and the revitalization of NGL and petrochemical industries in North America. The day starts out with an overview of BENTEK analysis and then features external speakers from the natural gas, NGL and oil industries to provide commentary on the theme of the day. The main component of Day 1 features three concurrent breakout tracks for natural gas, NGLs and oil, providing more than 12 hours of detailed presentations from BENTEK analysts, allowing attendees to dig deeper into the issues and regions that impact them the most.

Day 2: Market Adaptation: Proactive or Reactive?

(Wednesday, May 16, 8:30 a.m - 4:00 p.m.)
Day 2 explores the challenges that emerging markets will face and how transportation and storage will play integral roles across natural gas, NGL and oil commodities in North America. Producers, midstream and end users are either responding proactively or reactively to the current unprecedented market conditions. The day starts out with an overview of BENTEK analysis and then features speakers from the natural gas, NGL and oil industries to provide commentary on the theme of the day. As with Day 1, the key feature of Day 2 includes a repeat performance of the three separate breakout tracks from Day 1, covering natural gas, NGLs and oil. Day 2 provides more than 12 hours of detailed presentations from BENTEK analysts, allowing attendees to participate in the sessions they were not able to attend on Day 1.
Attendees of Day 2 are invited to join BENTEK’s private networking event that evening as the Houston Astros play against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Day 3: The Triggering of Events and the Foundation of New Opportunities

(Thursday, May 17, 8:30 a.m - 4:00 p.m.)
